Postpartum molting
Hair everywhere. Shedding in the shower, on the kids, into our dinner.
Ick.
But maybe now that my hair follicles have figured out I'm not pregnant anymore, the ring of flab around my middle will follow suit?
ONE: singular.
TIRED: I haven't slept through the night since August 2003.
EMA: (Heb., also trans. IMA) mother.
My partner in crime, Taxman, and I spend our days--and sometimes nights--raising our little girl, Miss M (summer '04), and our little boy, AM (spring '06).
I sometimes do freelance editing for the government at night, but I mostly watch too much tv and don't read as much as I should.
I used to be smarter.
But I love my kids.
